Option A: HMR® in Clinic

Our clinic-based program provides the quickest and most significant weight loss for you. The in clinic program average weight loss is nearly twice that of the at Home program. This well structured and personalized program is conducted  by Pro Medical Weight Management staff at 2 clinics locations, Pro Performance Rx Sports and Fitness Center in Morgantown or the Fairmont HealthPlex .The In clinic program teaches lifestyle skills in specially designed weekly weight loss classes held at our clinic. This also allows medical check-ins and assistance for those who require medical supervision. Our team will work with you and help you to: lose weight, improve your health, and learn new skills for weight management.

Weekly on site Classes

HMR® Weight Loss Classes

When you start the In-Clinic program each week you will be attending a 90-minute class where we teach you the skills you need to practice to reach your goal weight. This aspect of the program is most important. Our staff will coach, motivate and educate you to implement these skills on a regular basis while living in a culture that does not support the use of these skills.

Weekly classes provide coaching and accountability to help people develop new skills around healthy behaviors such as physical activity, eating more fruits and vegetables, and using HMR meal replacements as weight loss tools.

HMR® Weight Management/Maintenance Classes

Losing weight is only the beginning of learning the skills for weight management After the weight loss phase, participants attend weekly maintenance classes, where they receive support and learn additional strategies for maintaining their lower weight and better health in the “real world.” Personal coaches’ work closely with each individual to practice and over-practice healthier weight management skills until they become second nature. Our major goal is not simply to help you lose the weight, but to keep it off long term. Our maintenance program is so effective, that many of our patients continue to lose weight while in the maintenance program

Available Medical Supervision

Personalized Care
At Pro Medical, we strive to treat each patient as the unique person he or she is, each with their own set of unique circumstances and unique needs. Therefore, our first step is a complete medical evaluation including:

  • Comprehensive History & Physical Examination
  • A health and risk assessment
  • Lab Work and Metabolism Testing (if indicated)
  • Vitals, Body Mass Index
  • Evaluation with 12 lead EKG (if indicated)
  • Evaluation and Scheduling for Exercise Stress Test (if indicated)
  • hydrostatic percent body fat measurement, resting metabolic rate measurement(if indicated)
  • ongoing medical supervision as needed

Onsite Professional Advice for  Lifestyle Changes

Our Health educators are lifestyle change experts and can:

  • Help you change habits and thinking patterns
  • Provide scientific knowledge
  • Empower you to make healthy choices in the long term
  • Help you adopt a balanced and sustainable dietary intake
  • Teach you the skills to ensure successful maintenance
  • Modify irrational thoughts
  • Address sabotaging behaviors
  • Minimize risk of plateaus or weight regain
  • Focus on the relationship between food and mood (comfort, boredom, reward)
  • Set and reach your goals

 Our Exercise physiologists work with you to help ensure you are

  • exercising efficiently, safely
  • boosting your metabolic rate to maximize your weight loss and health outcomes.

Our Physician and Medical staff can provide:

  • Monitor your progress with a metabolic rate test, muscle and body fat analysis, blood pressure monitoring, waist to hip ratio and blood tests.
  • Offer support for people with health problems
  • Monitor the positive changes for those with high cholesterol, diabetes or hypertension

 Option B:HMR® at Home


HMR at Home® Program

Good news! If you can’t attend our In clinic program or for those who prefer to lose weight on their own, there is still an HMR weight loss program for you, we have self-directed weight loss kits. It’s called our At home program.

HMR’s proven support materials is detailed, and provides step-by-step “how to’s” to lose weight

  • Average weight loss: 15-20 in 12 weeks*
