How to get started?

As part of a medically based fitness center, we take an interdisciplinary approach to wellness. Our clients benefit from expert guidance on exercise, nutrition, stress management, and healthy lifestyle habits.

We offer a medically integrated approach to fitness it’s not physical therapy or geriatrics groups, and you don’t have to be “sick” to join.

Every member’s first step ‘Intake Process’ is a personalized health assessment and exam by our medical director David Lynch, M.D. Call today to set up your appointment with Dr. Lynch

1. Initial Consultation Intake Process

Each new patient will receive a private consultation with Dr. Lynch. This session will cover personal and family health history, physical limitations, expectations and goal setting

2. Fitness Evaluation and Interpretation

After the initial consultation, our staff will administer fitness evaluations to determine baseline fitness levels for each participating employee. Advance programs Monitor Program v. Action Program (abnl value)

Our certified athletic trainers will design an exercise program for you based on your testing, and will instruct you on how to exercise in a safe, smart and effective way to achieve your goals.

Personal Fitness Evaluation:

Computerized Fitness Evaluation: measures weight, strength, flexibility, body fat percentage, blood pressure, pulse and resting metabolic rate

Consultation and Examination: Staff reviews all data and performs examinations that include balance testing, body measurements, shoulder flexibility, range of motion of the spine, hips, shoulders, knees, and ankles.

Individual Exercise Prescription (IEP)

We will create a personalized fitness program based on your goals, abilities and interests. You will learn how to use your heart rate and a physical exertion scale to determine how much exercise is right for you as well as how and when to progress to your next level of fitness. These results also serve as a baseline to which future assessments are compared. Your strength-training program will be designed by one of our highly skilled personal trainers in water or on land, and if you choose, you may continue your one-on-one personal training sessions.

Utilizing the information from the initial consultation and fitness evaluation, we will create (IEP) for each you

. Exercise sessions will include:

  • Warm-up activities
  • Aerobic conditioning
  • Strength training
  • Flexibility exercises
  • Cool-down

In addition, we will recommend an appropriate number of exercise sessions per week based on individual needs and abilities. By following these guidelines, you can meet their fitness goals, while you reap the rewards of a healthier body

We will also develop a personalized nutrition program based on sound and safe eating habits.  Good nutrition is central to everything we do in life, whether it’s getting fit, working or playing.
